The '2026 Seoul Food Week,' a celebration of Seoul's food and culinary culture, runs through Oct. 29. According to the Seoul Metropolitan Government, the overall event period spans Oct. 23 to 29, with programs taking place at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) and various locations throughout the city.

The city says the lineup includes Seoul Restaurant Week, which highlights special offers at participating restaurants, as well as food tours around different neighborhoods and culinary classes centered on food and traditional Korean liquor. Venues and schedules vary by program.

It's important to distinguish between the overall event period and the dates for individual programs. The Seoul Food Market held at DDP ran for just two days, Oct. 24-25, and has already concluded. Seoul, the city's official monthly magazine, also describes the market as a two-day event limited to those dates.

Anyone hoping to join one of the remaining programs should first check the official Seoul Food Week guide for the exact dates, locations, and availability of reservations for the activity they're interested in. Some experiences may require advance registration or a participation fee.

This year, the city also released a separate list of '50 Seoul Cafes and Desserts' in addition to its '100 Seoul Food Picks.' Those planning to visit a restaurant or cafe should also check each venue's business hours and reservation requirements beforehand.
