[DiaryPoint=Reporter Park Bo-young] The third season of Netflix’s brainy competition series ‘The Devil’s Plan,’ titled ‘The Devil’s Plan: Death Room,’ premieres Nov. 10. The 14-episode season will roll out over three weeks for viewers around the world on Netflix.

Sixteen contestants are taking part this season: Jang Dong-min, Hong Jin-ho, Oh Hyun-min, Ha Seok-jin, Jung Hyun-gyu, Kim Dong-jae, Seo Chul-gu, Yurisa, Shin Dong, Hyun Kyung-ryeol, John Park, Jaejae, Nucksal, Lee Do, Stella Jang and Jung Won-young. Jang Dong-min has won five consecutive survival competitions, while Ha Seok-jin and Jung Hyun-gyu won Seasons 1 and 2, respectively.

In the series, contestants from different walks of life compete in games and psychological battles for the title. The subtitle ‘Death Room’ points to the return of veterans who have experienced elimination. The show is directed by producers Jung Jong-yeon and Choi Yoon-hee and produced by TEO.

This season introduces a rule that keeps players in the game even after they lose all their pieces. At a press event on the 5th, producer Choi Yoon-hee said, “The players’ fates are decided as they play, so it will be exciting to watch.” Producer Jung Jong-yeon added, “We focused on pure brain games in making this season.”

At the event, Jang Dong-min said, “As long as I’m alive, I’m not retiring from survival competitions.” Hong Jin-ho said he was glad to reunite with producer Jung Jong-yeon more than 10 years after ‘The Genius.’ The season premieres Nov. 10, with all 14 episodes scheduled to arrive over three weeks.
