[DiaryPoint reporter Park Bo-young] NCT DREAM released a music video teaser for “Boogie Woogie,” the title track from their sixth studio album, on SMTOWN’s YouTube channel and other platforms at midnight on Nov. 7. The full album, DREAM AFTER DREAM, and the title track’s music video will be released on music platforms and YouTube at 6 p.m. on Nov. 9. The album features 10 tracks, including the title song, and a physical edition will also be released that day.

The teaser features the members’ playful side alongside a buoyant melody. “Boogie Woogie” is described as an upbeat dance track that blends the feel of 1970s disco funk with modern synthesizer sounds. The Korea Times reported that the song also features rhythmic percussion and a groovy bassline, and that Jaemin took part in writing the lyrics. The lyrics celebrate the 10 years the members have spent together and express their gratitude to one another.

The music video tells a story of turning everyday places—including a supermarket, stationery store, snack shop, and playground—into a celebration. The album title, DREAM AFTER DREAM, refers to dreams that keep coming. According to the group’s agency, NCT DREAM looks back on the time and musical growth they’ve built over the past decade since debuting, while expressing their determination to pursue the next dream. NCT DREAM debuted on Aug. 25, 2016, with “Chewing Gum.”

This is the group’s first release in about a year, following their sixth mini album, Beat It Up, in November 2025. With songs such as “Hot Sauce,” “Hello Future,” “Candy,” “ISTJ,” and “BTTF,” the group has explored stories of youth and growth. They are releasing a new album as they mark their 10th anniversary. Preorders opened on Oct. 16 at online and offline record stores.

The comeback livestream for fans, “Let’s Boogie Woogie!,” is scheduled for 5 p.m. on Nov. 9 on NCT DREAM’s YouTube channel, Weverse, and TikTok. The broadcast will begin an hour before the album release; an official notice described it as a special program celebrating the new album. The full album and title track music video will be released at 6 p.m. that day.
