[DiaryPoint = Reporter Park Bo-young] ITZY’s Chaeryeong will release her first solo mini-album, “Lovesick,” along with the audio and music video for its title track of the same name at 6 p.m. on Nov. 9. She will hold a countdown live at 5 p.m., an hour before the album’s release. JYP Entertainment announced the release on Oct. 19, sharing the album trailer, tracklist and promotional schedule on its official social media accounts.
“Lovesick” features four tracks: the title song “Lovesick,” “Moonlit Club,” “Scent” and “Favorite Reason.” Chaeryeong contributed lyrics to the fourth track, “Favorite Reason.” Ahead of the release, the label will roll out concept photos, music video stills and a teaser, as well as an album preview.
After performing and releasing music as part of ITZY’s five-member lineup, Chaeryeong is making her solo debut with an album under her own name. The newly released trailer is styled like a storybook. It follows a character who remains unmoved by moments such as standing in front of a birthday cake or winning the lottery, until one day becoming intrigued by an unidentified “something.” JYP says the release will show a new side of Chaeryeong as a solo artist, highlighting her steady live vocals, light dance style and lively personality seen on variety shows.
This is Chaeryeong’s first solo album in about seven years, following her 2019 debut with ITZY. She is the group’s third member to release a solo record, after Yeji and Yuna. Yeji began her solo career with the mini-album “Air” in March 2025, and Yuna released “Ice Cream” in March 2026. ITZY is a five-member group known for songs including “Dalla Dalla” and “Wannabe.”
ITZY has also wrapped up its “Tunnel Vision” world tour ahead of Chaeryeong’s solo debut. Named after the group’s 11th mini-album, released in November 2025, the tour staged 19 shows across 15 cities and concluded in Singapore in October 2026. After completing the group’s tour schedule, Chaeryeong will host a countdown live at 5 p.m. on Nov. 9, then release the album and music video at 6 p.m.
