[DiaryPoint = Reporter Choi Seung-jin] The 2026 Gumi Ramyeon Festival will run for three days, Nov. 6–8, around Gumi Station. Festival venues will be set up in the old downtown area around the station, making it easy to head straight to the event after arriving by train.
The festival’s centerpiece is its Ramyeon Restaurant, where visitors can sample a range of noodle dishes. Thirty-three eateries are expected to take part this year, up from last year. Gumi City says it is preparing more premium ramyeon options and dining space, along with convenience features such as QR-code ordering and KakaoTalk wait-time alerts.
The festival’s official website lists menu categories including “Half-and-Half Ramyeon,” creative ramyeon, premium and international noodles, and ramyeon trucks. Check the official menu guide for individual dishes and prices. The “Soup Lab & Self-Cooking Zone,” where visitors can create their own combinations of ramyeon soup base, is also among the featured activities.

Walking from the station to the nearby venues is the simplest option, and taking the train may suit visitors looking to avoid weekend traffic and parking hassles. Gumi City has announced seven Kakao T regional shuttle routes connecting the festival with the Seoul area, Daegu, Busan, Daejeon and Gwangju. The Seoul-area routes depart from Seoul Station, Jamsil Station and Sadang Station, alongside four routes from other regions. Whether each route operates will depend on demand. Listed round-trip fares are 59,000 won from Seoul, 25,000 won from Daegu and 45,000 won from Busan.
