Episodes 1–4 will drop together on launch day, followed by two episodes every Wednesday until the 10-episode series concludes. Disney+ has not listed a specific release time in its official announcement.

Disney+ announced the schedule on the series’ title page. With four episodes available upfront and new installments arriving weekly, viewers can either start with a longer binge or follow the story two episodes at a time. The premiere batch introduces the story and its central relationships. Watching all four at once gives viewers an early look at Empress Navier’s circumstances and the roles of those around her, while the weekly schedule lets them follow the developments episode by episode. According to Disney+’s schedule, the finale arrives Nov. 25.

The story begins with an empress facing a demand for divorce

The premise is easy to follow even without knowing the original webtoon. Navier, empress of the Eastern Empire, is told by her husband, Emperor Sovieshu, that he wants a divorce. She chooses instead to remarry Prince Heinrey of the Western Kingdom. The story centers on how a broken imperial marriage gives way to a new union and a shifting balance of power. Viewers can follow how the characters’ relationships change after the divorce demand and Navier’s decision to remarry. As marital and political conflicts intersect in the imperial court, each character’s choices become a key part of the story.

Shin Min-a plays Empress Navier, Ju Ji-hoon is Emperor Sovieshu, Lee Jong-suk plays Heinrey, and Lee Se-young is Rashta. The divorce demand, prompted by Sovieshu falling in love with Rashta, sets the four characters’ relationships in motion. Knowing the cast and roles in advance can help viewers keep track of Navier and Sovieshu’s marriage, her new relationship with Heinrey, and Rashta’s place in the story. Disney+ describes the series as a live-action adaptation of the webtoon of the same name.

The confirmed viewing details are that the series will stream exclusively on Disney+, premiere Nov. 4, and launch with Episodes 1–4. Two episodes will follow each Wednesday, with the finale scheduled for Nov. 25. The official announcement does not specify a release time in Korea, so the exact hour cannot be confirmed.
